With his win at the PGA Championship Tiger Woods is once again dominating the GRI Player Ranking Index (PRI).

Woods rating of 107.97 is more than double that of #2 Jim Furyk who sports a rating of 51.55.

Phil Mickelson remains #3 however by finishing ahead of Furyk in the PGA edged closer to the #2 spot with a PRI rating of 49.92.

While U.S. players continue to dominate the top of the PRI rankings, the rest of the list continues to have an International flair as 14 of the top-20 players are from abroad. The top-10 is composed of 3 Americans; #1 Woods, #2 Mickelson and #3 Jim Furyk.

European players hold two PRI top-10 spots with Englishman Luke Donald at #9 and Sergio Garcia of Spain at #10.

#4 Adam Scott and #5 Geoff Ogilvy of Australia are the highest rated International players followed by #6 Vijay Singh of Fiji. Retief Goosen and Trevor Immelman of South Africa hold down the #7 and #8 spots respectively.

Criteria for the Golf Rank Index - Player Ranking Index

The GRI Player Ranking Index is calculated by tabulating adjusted GRI ranking points earned over the past 67-week period in GRI rated events, then dividing the adjusted point total against events played in the period. The GRI ranking points earned are adjusted to represent 100% value for the most current week's events, then decline in value by 1.5% a week for the prior 66 weeks.

In addition, 1-75th of the adjusted points earned for the 67 week period are added to arrive at the final ranking.
